After I took the photos which you are about to see you'll know why I joined.

Ok it started off with me buying one of these Ghost Meter / EMF detectors ---> http://www.paranormal-investigation..../prod_02_7.jpg

When I first tried it, I would get EMF detections while I was next to man-made machinery, such as ovens etc. It said on the description that this would happen, although the meter reading would be constant. I tried it in my home a few times and I picked up nothing in the bedrooms etc... until the other night!!

I was standing in the same spot, holding it in the same spot, and the meter would go crazy, it would go up, then down, up then down, strongly indicating that there was a spirit present. It was freaking me out. So then I took photos with my camera phone. It tells you to do this when you have signals, as you may capture a ghostly image, or an orb, if you're lucky that is. Well, I took the photos, and I was freaked out with what I saw, as I think you'll be too. Take a look.... remember these photos were taken with a low quality camera off a mobile phone. I'd love to have seen then with a proper high mega pixel digital camera! Actually, if you save the photos, and shrink them to reduce the resolution, you'll see it even clearer!

I been talking myself into starting a thread on something because there are a few things I would like feedback on...I just have a hangup about it. So I will share a odd story and see if I can get the feel for this better.
This didnt start out as a paranormal thing, my cousin went to a birthday party for some girl and had her Sony handycam and filmed some of the party and other people were taking pictures. Her computer had issues and she wanted it uploaded and emailed to a couple different people so she brings it to me. Not like I have good computer skills, can just do basic stuff.
She decides she wants a few stills for posting on her myspace and thats when it gets weird.
Here is the shot, the camera has three people in the shot, standing at each others side starting from the left a female (18) in the middle was a guy(20) and on the right another female(Turned 19 this day) holding the birthday cake with candles (all burning). The guy is standing in front of a door to a hallway and you can see another door offset to the left, still you can see into the room a little. The wall behind the two girls is maybe 1 and a half feet behind them.
The girl leans in and blows out the candles and the guy leans just a little and helps. Someone took a picture with a flash at this point.
Playing at normal speed you dont see anything, but...going frame by frame looking for shot for stills, when the flash went off there was a extra shadow standing in the door behind the man. Now you can see the guy's shadow on the wall by the girl on the left and that girl's is back there too. The girl holding the cake has a shadow on the other side of the door that is partly blocked by the extra one.
The extra shadow is half on the door moulding and then into the opening of the door. It is one defined shape, it doesnt stretch to the wall on the other side of the hall. Not being the one that took the video I assumed at first the camera that flashed had someone else in front of it that caused the shadow...But after I noticed the shadow I started it over and went frame by frame and you can see a distortion come out of the other room and then kinda fades out behind the guy until the candles are blown out and the flash goes off, then the distortion leaves going down the hall to the right of my view, keeping in mind it came from the room on the left.
I see a leg walking as it leaves, but it looks like it could be a distortion so its not like I would take this to the public, I showed my cousin and she kinda freaked a bit and dont want to show it to anyone so I am left with a story and the hope that this helps people trying to catch something on flim a new idea on how to look over some footage. ]]> Ghost Stories AudieYo http://www.ghostplace.com/showthread.php?t=34832 http://www.ghostplace.com/showthread.php?t=34831&goto=newpost Sun, 11 May 2008 17:49:32 GMT I tried this for a little bit lastnight by staring into the mirror at my own reflection until I became real focused & began to unfocus my eyes & started to see my face change. It freaked me out so I stopped, but the first thing I noticed was that I was beginning to look older.

Any ideas or experiances to share? and the other night we went to the cemetary to run some basic tests

(unfortunatly our technology is lacking for we don't have the money to purchase better equipment)

we were taking basic recordings and taking digital pictures

well the interesting part is that we were chased out of the cemetary by a hooded robbed figure

yeah... creepy

I believe that it was a human... it looked like it was carrying a flashlight.. yeah..

I think that a Satanic Coven has been going up to the cemetery for some sort of ritual.. but I'm not sure..

If heaven and hell exist, where do ghosts fit in? Christians I know tend to feel that the entities often explained as ghosts are most likely demons or angels, rather than the souls of deceased people, who are ostensibly residents of the most appropriate location in either heaven or hell.

One devout Christian I know believes that ghosts are simply manifestations of past human energies which have been embedded in a specific area or situation as a result of the human they represent having been through a strong emotional experience regarding that area/situation at a past time. In her opinion, the appearance of a seemingly supernatural manifestation is in fact the residual imprint of a visceral human memory which has been transferred to a given set of circumstances. So anyone who interacts in an environment thus imprinted may experience the sensation of feeling, hearing or seeing part of the imprinted memory as it is being played out, and interpret it as supernatural in nature.

I hope I have not offended anyone by asking this....I have great respect for all religious doctrines and am merely wondering whether there are any Christians (or other monotheistic practitioners) who also believe in the possibility of a non-traditional afterlife and how that belief corresponds to the principles of their faith. Acouple he knows fixed him up with a date. When he met the woman they shook habds and the woman said ," you are involved in something very intense in your life". She took a pad of paper and without talking to my brother she wrote that within the next 72 days he would enjoy a victory involving his work, and it would enhance his finances. Also he would be negotiating with a foreign company. He is trying to organize a union where he works and the company was bought by a company from Mexico not too long ago. I don't believe in coincidence either but this is interesting to say the least. His friends say they told her nothing about his work. We already have three cats and a rabbit and two additonal stray cats that we feed on the property. We are trying to discourage her, but to be honest I grew up with dogs and I would love to have one (I am working from home, so no problem).

What I want from you guys is advice to my daughter on how to be responsible in bringing up a dog and all that's involved. I've talked to her about this, but I think if other people gave her their experiences it would make it more real to her. She has already decided to volunteer at the local animal shelter for a few months on dog adoption days to familiarize herself. I just want her to realize what a giant responsibility adopting a dog is, and she values your opinion. So please, write in your experiences and advice for her, as it would be very much appreciated. My mother and auntie were coming back late from a high school dance that ended between 8:30 and 9:00pm, they were laughing and talking about how much fun they had. As they were approaching the front yard of the house, they saw a woman that looked like my grandmother weeding in the garden, this struck my mother as odd because she usually did her gardening in the daytime, my auntie didn't think anything of it. "Hey look, why is mom out here at this time of night weeding her garden?" My mother replied "I hate to say this but that does NOT look like mom, Josie!" "You must be blind, can't you see that it's mama?" Without thinking, my auntie started to approach the woman as my mother went inside, to her surprise my grandmother was standing in the kitchen washing the dishes. "Mama! How did you get in here so quickly?" "What in God's name are you talking about? I've been here the whole time, dear." As my grandmother said this, my auntie burst through the door, her face was all white and her eyes wide with terror. "She disappeared as soon as I touched her! When she turned to look at me she had the reddest eyes! I thought my heart was going to pound right out of my chest!" My grandmother, who was also afraid, told my auntie to sit down and tell her what happened. After she did, my grandmother shook her head and said "That's why I tell you guys not to stay out too late! The devil comes in many forms and apparitions, maybe next time you will heed my warnings!" After that experince, my mom and auntie never stayed out past 9:00 ever again. I remember when I visited her, I would be sitting outside and as soon as it would get dark my grandmother had always told me to come inside, as if she were afraid that something evil might come.
