My brother and I found a funnel web spider in our swimming pool, so we caught it in a jar and took it to a nearby hospital to have it milked of it's venom. As we were leaving the hospital we were walking down a long corridor, suddenly i heard these footsteps about 2 or 3 metres behind me (might i add there were no doors in the corridor for about 20 metres back) I turned around and there was no one there. So i kept on walking, when we briefly stopped to open a door at the end of the corridor, the footstpes sounded again and whatever it was behind me touched me on the shoulder. I didnt turn around, I was afraid of what i might see, but it felt like it was tapping me on the shoulder to get my attension. I dont think I am game to go back to that hospital again!

Maybe you should have turned around to see who was there. It could have been someone friendly thanking you for caring enough to provide the spider venom.
