Anyone see The Shining w/ Jack Nicholson? Remember when Danny Lloyd sees the grady twin 'Ghost Girls?" I wondedr if anyone has had this experience? Thanks.

I have never heard of anyone having that experience. But, if you want to know the real story that Steven King wrote you should read the book or watch the remake. The remake is true to the book unlike the one with Jack Nicholsen. Don't get me wrong I like both movies but I prefer the one that is true to the book.

Hi AnnAgain .. :)

Its me again. LOL ... I guess this thread started in Ghost Stories section but I tried to get it in dicussion section as per rules. Anyway I will post over there too.

Regarding The Shining: Stanley Kubrick's version is just as good to me as S. King's book. I think Kubrick did a much better job than the mini-series, nevertheless, I like them all equally. I have one of each of the following:
1) VHS The Shining S. Kubrick
1) CD The Shining S. Kubrick w/ trailer & Vivian Kubrick
1) VCD of Stephen King's version of mini-seris
1) Soft cover book of SKs book
1) Hard cover book of SKs book
etc ... etc...etc etc
