Well reading some of the introductions... yeah some of us are addicted ...
you all know the drill by heart.
if you don't, well your not as addicted as those who skipped reading this after seeing the title. if you read this add a 111 to the title line on your post.
You know you're addicted when you sit refreshing a game page because someone else is viewing the thread and you want them to post because you're bored.
You know your addicted when you call GP members by their Screen name in real life. "guilty" *hangs head* poor gav...
You know the addiction is deep when you look at the last log on and it never says more than 8 hours.

Thats totally true.
You know you're addicted when you come back to the same topic you were on earlier to see if anyone added to your post.
You know you're addicted when you get grounded for spending so much time on the computer. :D
You know you're addicted when you dream about having a party together in real life. (I actually do this. teehee)

You know your addicted when you have more GP members than real life friends on your MSN.
You know when your addicted when you log in first thing in the morning and not log out until last thing at night, you need to check repeatedly that no new posts have been made though out the day (hangs head in shame hehehehe).
You know yoru addicted when all your work collegues actually ask "Have you spoken to ******** recently, how are they?", because all you talk about is GP.
You know your addicted when some members of GP know more about you than your real life friends, means your spending wayyyyyyyy too much time online.
You know your addcited when you are running late for work and just have to check who's online. Bus or no bus.
You know when your addicted when you miss your favourite TV programme that you have been waiting for all week, just because you want to reply to a new topic.
You know when your addicted when you can think of too many of these, and still be on here 247.

You're addicted when you actually read the first post and did what it said simply because you were bored and HAD to read every word.

You know you are addicted to GP when:
You can't stay awake any longer to work on your homework but you are wide awake when on GP!
You are running out of excuses to tell your family when you NEED the computer to get something done. Particularly when they all know you are actually on GP!
You think you heard something fall and/or break in the next room but you finish reading a responding to the next few posts before checking on the source of the noise.
You pour out your Cheetos (or other snack) onto the desk and begin arranging them into the shape of the GO logo.

"there are other sites?" leaps to your lips when someone mentions a web site...
your online friends keep the same screen name across several sites and you discuss GP on other sites.
your real life friends get called by their GP names on the phone...
you write to a relative in the area of a major GP going on just to have another eyewitness account.
your best friend doesn't have Internet Access at home so you trade off going online to check the GP accounts.

You IM friends list has a folder labeled GP people...
you have more meaningful conversations with people on GP than you do with your family...
Your family is on GP and talk there more than around the dinner table.

sorry had to resurrect this one after i read LilGenie's re-intro...
You know you're addicted when occasionally you have flashbacks to the old version of GP.
You remember when UFOPlace and Ghostplace Members had dual SN's
You can remember both sn's and still occasionally call the other members but the other SN.
you dig up threads like this one cause it is late at night and there isn't a lot to do.
you find old game threads to reply to because you just have a need to post SOMETHING! and there is no chatroom bot to talk to.

You know you are addicted when your husband knows the members in here by name and he doesn't even come in here.
You know you are addicted when you get out of bed in the middle of the night, fire up the computer, log into Ghostplace and edit a post that you made hours before because you think something you had written COULD be read in such a way that someone's feelings COULD be hurt and you cannot sleep until you have dealt with that..
You know you are addicted when a little kid observes, "Grandma is in that blue place on her tumputer again!"

Well..
I know I am addicted to GP when I show the site to German friends who understand very little English and can read the posts in the most limited manner.
By the way, the lack of cyberspeak makes a huge difference to their comprehension.
