Trains that change up, or leave cars, in the middle of town, blocking up traffic, making ME late, pee's me off....as far as im concerned, this is something they could do on some desolate strip of track out in the country.... no excuse for it

What annoys me? Well, people who shred others whom they consider their inferiors, most notably those in the service industry who are in no position to defend themselves without fear of losing their jobs.

Bear with me, it's fresh in my mind....
What REALLY ticks me off is certain Independent Filmmakers. Those people who never bothered to get trained. But instead Mommy and Daddy bought them a fancy new camera and they watch a lot of movies and *poof* they're a filmmaker.
So they go out and get companies to hire them to do commercials, corporate videos, etc. They charge a ton of money because they see how much filmmakers actually do go for. The experienced and knowledgeable anyway, so they figure they should make the same.
So then other filmmakers (those of us with experience and training) have to go around to these companies and basically apologize on behalf of filmmakers everywhere for the sub par overpriced product that they received from another company.
Then comes the begging....Will you fix it??
So instead of me just shooting the bloody thing in the first place I have to figure out how to take their horrid footage done with some unknown program ass backwards, and somehow, someway, make it look professional.
Go ahead, ask me how I've spent my last few days........
*deep breath*
Now don't get me wrong. I FULLY encourage ANYONE to get their hands on a video camera and start shooting. That's the beauty of living in the 'digital age' ...anyone can do it. Just remember, just because you can throw a all, doesn't mean you can pitch for the Yankees. A pitcher will only go so far without knowing how to throw a proper curve ball from time to time.

What annoys me?
When my schnauzer decides to go roaming in the fields out back, and finds something particularly putrid to roll in. :eek::eek:
And then I have to praise her and give her a treat for this bad behavior, so she'll come back to me! LOL

OOOOkay, 7th Entity.. how DID you spend the past few days? :rolleyes:
What annoys me? Well I know this is petty, but those flyers that are stuffed into newspapers annoy me. I get the daily paper with the selection of flyers. Then come TWO freebies delivered to my door with the same flyers that arrived in the daily paper. Then comes the mailman who stuffs extra copies of those SAME flyers into my mailbox!
And.. sometimes I get multiple copies of the same one, especially if it is printed on slippery paper. I put SEVEN copies of some mattress advertisement in recycling last week! Every week I put about ten pounds of this junk in recycling.. what a waste!

well, Laddi has never gotten me to the point of being mad..so what gets me mad is...
telemarketers, the automated voices drives me nuts!!
people who take/use my stuff with out asking.
in-comphantent professionals who can't do their job right.
I'm sure I'll think of some more, but it's still too early for me..brain farts right now.

Hi..
OOH yes! Telemarketers! The worst are the ones who call me from somewhere in the US, offering to do me the enormous kindness of issuing me a credit card for Neiman Marcus or some other such store that does not have branches in Canada. Of course as a 'Thank-you', I would be required to give the lady who can barely speak English and who cannot pronounce my Irish surname name to save her life, a great deal of personal and financial information.
Dream on!
My request that I be placed on a DON'T CALL list falls on deaf ears. I suppose as more and more people in the US put themselves on the DON'T CALL list, the pests are looking outside the country.

I get really bothered when somebody spits right on the street.
Petty, I know...but it's just so rude to do that in front of a person about to tread exactly where you placed a very icky glob nobody wants to see.

(sorry if you happen to be one of those people who make that noise and then shoot one out. But really, if you are -send me a pm and I'll kindly send you four bucks if you promise to spend it on some Kleenex)

OOH, I love that one, Laddi! And worse than that is the life form holding a loaf of bread, who stands in line, chewing gum and scanning the area behind him/her. Then, just as it is her turn to pay for the bread, along comes an accomplice with a cartload of stuff, piled to the rafters!

She takes the cart.. and spends the next twenty minutes holding the rest of us up while hiding her smirk and trying to not look at us!

Yes Muriel, That definitely irks me everytime! You think you got behind someone who will be a fast checkout, and it takes a hour just to unload everything on the counter! LOL
The gripe I have right now, is that the electricity keeps going off right in the middle of a post because of thunderstorms.

[COLOR=Silver]I hate laugh tracks with a passion. They are annoying, distracting and detrimental to the continuity of the program! It is not as though the program were filmed in front of a live audience.. the damn laugh track is added later!
There is a wonderful irreverent British program that I love. There are not a lot of episodes of "Father Ted" and I never miss an opportunity to watch again one that I have seen a dozen times. An episode aired late last night.. I recorded it to watch this evening and guess what! They have added a laugh track to a program that is so funny in its own right, there is no way I have to be told where to laugh!
I hate laugh tracks.. did I mention that?
