Then the game has begun:

Your legs quake the whole way to the cafe. You walk to the front door and look to your left. A man in a suit straightens his tie as he gives you a crooked stare. You stop and look back. As a bus passes by, the man disappears into thin air. A pulse of adrenaline pumps through your stomach as you pull open the cafe door. You enter the cafe and look through. You notice a man sitting at a table stirring a some coffee. You walk over to him.

"Kessler?" you ask

"Ah, you've made your choice. Please, sit." he says in a calm voice. A far cry from the mood of the letter. You're hesitant, but you sit down.

"What is it you want from me?" You ask in a polite tone.

"It's not what I want. It's what YOU need.", his cryptic message puzzles you, "I've been keeping an eye on you for some time now." Your demeanor changes.

"What? For how long? And to what...you know...extent?" You ask, almost red-faced.

"Oh, I haven't been spying on you to much extent. I've been more or less watching OUT for you than anything.", again, Kessler puzzles you with more riddle and less rhyme, "To the point, then. Our sources inform us that you have unseen forces watching you. Waiting for the right time to strike. Your parents, as I may have mentioned, are not dead. But they were being watched by these forces as well. They were captured by them and taken to a small, abandoned town by the name of Feverwood. I could take you there and we will be able to rescue them. Refuse, and there is a slight chance that you could go on your own, but risk capture yourself. In that case, you will be there final link to the rituals ahead. I can explain more on the road. Here is not a safe place to be."

Your stomach still pulses with adrenaline. How are you mixed up in this? And how do you know that HE isn't lying? This could be something you NEED to do. But, what would happen if you were wrong. You think. Should I go with him? or Chance it alone?

THE CHOICE IS YOURS
