Back in the 90's I use to mess around in another forum were we came up with a game to help kill the time. The game was very simple, we would get a few people to agree to a good topic for a story and one of them would write the first few paragraphs to start the story. Some one else would come along, read what has already been wrote about the story and write the next few paragraphs, then some one else would come along, read what has been already wrote, and write the next few paragraphs, and so on and so on.
There is not really many rules besides to keep the story making a little sense and going. You can add characters, kill off characters, heck even suck people up into a vortex, or alien invasions if thats what you want. What happens next is only limited by your imagination (and forum rules).
My idea for a topic and since this is ghost place, is a very poor family in the sticks who all die suddenly and realize that they have died. Instead of passing on into the next life they decide that they are not finished with the world and are going to move into and haunt in "the good life" kind of like a knock off of the "Beverly Hillbillies". Now the topic is open to debate and I am sure that someone will come up with something better then this. Have fun.
